“The Vine” Bolero
This jacket is an eye catcher that leads the viewer on a journey like a good painting another label that is popular at the moment is wearable art and this fits well with what I do.
The Vine Bolero can be worn over a top, evening camisole, or shirt, or over many other garments for that classy lunch outing as complementary top.
These photos are of the making or progression of the bolero in the fashion parade being made.
The animals that contributed to The Vine Bolero :
The pattern of vines and flowers containing the cream and pale green come from Christan Andean Silk, one of our Suri Alpacas.
The lavender net background is from Christan EvenSong one of our Huacaya Alpacas.
The small splash of black is from Kallaroo Park Alpacas in Albany.
All of these animals are show ribbon winners and produce wonderful fibre.
I love the richness of ownership knowing the properties of the fleeces have been grown on the animals that have contributed to the making of this garment.
See the Vine Bolero in the making.
